PRODUCT SETUP

After logging in, you will see a status page. If the Internet icon is blue, the device is ready for use!

If the Internet icon

is grey and there is a icon, click on the icon and follow the steps below:



Enter the Username and Password given to you by your Internet Service Provider.



If your SIM requires a PIN, enter it and click . If necessary, the wizard may ask you to

enter the APN, Dial-Up Number, Username, and Password details given to you by your service

provider.



Select an available hotspot and enter its password to connect.

CONFIGURATION

Connection congurations will be automatically saved as Internet Proles for future use. The

DIR-518L will connect to them automatically when they are available. If you have more than one

connection available, you can manually select the connection you wish to use.

To select a connection:

- From the Prole List, you can select the radio button next to your Prole Name to use this

connection.

For more details on how to add, delete, or edit proles, please refer to  in the User

Manual.

MANAGING YOUR CONNECTIONS



Turn on the DIR-518L by sliding the Router/Charger switch to 



On your PC or mobile device, connect to the DIR-518L’s wireless network. Locate the Wi-Fi name

(SSID) and password for your device as printed on the included Wi-Fi Conguration Card.



Once connected, open a web browser on your mobile device or computer and type

or in the address bar.



At the login page, enter the Admin Password. By default, it should be left blank. Click .

CONNECTING TO THE DIR-518L

If the password is not blank or you have forgotten the password, reset the router

by pressing the  button with a pin for 5 seconds or more, then release.
