To conﬁgure the DWL-7100AP, use a computer which is connected to the DWL-7100AP with an Ethernet cable. You may use the web-based

conﬁguration or the AP Manager software to conﬁgure your access point. Please refer to page 52 to use the AP Manager software.

Web Conﬁguration Utility

First, disable the Access the Internet using a proxy server function. To disable this function, go to Control Panel > Internet Options >

Connections > LAN Settings and uncheck the enable box.

Open your web browser program such as Internet Explorer. Type the IP address of the DWL-7100AP in the address ﬁeld (http://192.168.0.50)

and press Enter. Make sure that the IP addresses of the DWL-7100AP and your computer are in the same subnet.

Conﬁguration

After the connection is established, Enter your user name (admin) and your password (leave blank by default). Click OK to continue.
