Section 2 - Installation

Charging with the Power Adapter

To charge the battery insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port of

the power adapter and the other end into the Mini-USB port of the DIR-457/

DIR-457U myPocket Router, then plug the power adapter into a wall socket.

While charging, the Power/3G network LED will ash. When battery power

is low, the LED will ash red.

Charging with the USB Cable

To charge the battery insert the USB cable into the Mini-USB port of the

DIR-457/DIR-457U myPocket Router and the other end into a free USB port

of your computer. While charging, the Power/3G network LED will ash.

When battery power is low, the LED will ash red.

Note: Both USB modem mode and Wi-Fi router mode support above two

charging methods.
