config location_name

Purpose

Used to enter a description of location of the

Switch.

Syntax config location_name {<location_name>}

Description

The command is used to enter a description of

the location of the Switch. A maximum of 20

characters can be used.

Parameters <location_name> - A maximum of 20 characters

is allowed.

Example usage:

To configure the Switch location for “Sales-6F”:

reset

Purpose

Used to reset the Switch to the factory default

setting

Syntax reset <config>

Description

The command is used to restore the Switch’s

configuration to the default setting assigned from

the factory.

Parameters config - All of the factory default settings are

restored on the Switch including the IP address.
